With the aim of promoting Freedom of Expression over Internet, Internet Society Nepal started Internet Freedom Project from 1st August, 2012. The project is supported by Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK. Following activities are being implemented during the project period that runs till March, 2013. Specific activities of the project are as follows:

1. Research on applying the S.R. recommendations and monitoring ongoing compliance at the national level
2. Collaborative research on the use of criminal law to curb freedom of expression online in South Asia
3. National Conference on Internet and Freedom of Expression
4. Online and multi-media tools for public engagement
5. Radio program “Internet Freedom”
6. Web based promotion of Internet and FOE
